This is Susan Richardson. I attended St Marys Gate from 1958-1966. I am now living in Miami, USA and have often wondered what happened to the old school. I heard it has been demolished. If you have any news I would love to hear from you. I have lost touch with everyone over the years and would be interested in any news. arecostable@aol.com

The author of southbourne.blogspot.com has written an excellent article. You have made your point and there is not much to argue about. It is like the following universal truth that you can not argue with: Power Corrupts, Absolute power is kind of neat. Thanks for the info.

You could easily be making money online in the underground world of blackhat traffic, You are far from alone if you don't know what blackhat is. Blackhat marketing uses little-known or not-so-known methods to produce an income online.

An excellent archive and some wonderful memories!

I was at St Peter's 1977-1983, and my father, Marcus Ladell, taught Music there a decade earlier (with Geoffrey Tristram, who was one of my godfathers). As a fourth generation Bournemouth resident I am writing a history of Westbourne and Bournemouth West, planning another on the private schools of Bournemouth (material welcomed), and slowly scanning my collection of old Bournemouth postcards, photos, ephemera, etc., on the Flickr website (several thousands - help yourself). You may also find me on the dreaded Facebook and elsewhere, often ranting about the destruction of our local history.
